Take Five: Summer Rave

The sun has finally come to England! Parties and barbeques are being held in every park and garden, often with their own soundtrack. Here are five songs which are perfect to dance around to outside on a warm summer's night.

Rimshox - Alter Ego
The production in this track is so intricate you may want to listen to the track a few times before raving to it. Lovely sunny vibes without being too heavy in bassline.

Surrinder Rattan, Metz N Trix - Has Has
This track has been played at many weddings this season and I've seen grannies throwing some interesting shapes to it on the dance floor. Joga Singh's vocals sound brilliant against the club backing and the extended vocal mix is the best. Guaranteed to get the party going.

Bikram Singh - ELB (MixtaBishi and MoFolactic Edit)
Who would have thought that  a mashup of Rihanna's We Found Love and Bikram Singh's Electro Love Boliyan would sound as good as it does. MixtaBishi and MoFolactic's creation is upbeat with enough sunshine to give you your daily does of Vitamin D!

Jay Dabhi - Mumbai After Dark
It's hard to believe that this track is from 2006 as it still sounds so fresh. A great reworking of a Bollywood song with a dark undertone. May scare away neighbours and annoying cats.

Bally Sagoo - Sharabi Nena Waliye

From Bally's album Future Shock, Sharabi Nena Waliye is a party song for when you have had a bit too much to drink. It helpfully slows down in the middle if you need a breather.

Bonus - Tigerstyle - Ik Banere (Dub Sharma Remix)
The original version of Tigerstyle's Ik Banere is incredibly special, but not that good for summer raving. But Dub Sharma's mix of the track is made for parties that end in the small hours. The opening section is stunning - perfect for early morning beach parties.
